The Vital Update for Google SEO 2017 that Could Destroy Your Site

Gone are the days of cheap, fast Black Hat SEO. The Google SEO algorithm for 2017 has weeded out almost all the artificial techniques SEO agencies have used in the past to artificially get websites ranked to the first page.

The new focus, user behavior. Specifically, click behavior.  The goal is the get the top 10 most relevant websites to the first page that the user is searching more to create the best user experience. This will prevent competitors like Bing or Facebook from knocking them out of the #1 position for search engines and keep the ad dollars rolling in.

So, what specifically can you do to update your strategy.  Instead of stuffing keywords into the meta title and description, copywriting has become more important to entice viewers to click on your link when coming up in the search results.  Furthermore, you want to keep them from bouncing (leaving) by creating a confident, high-value page that is relevant to what they are searching for and answers any questions rather than a fluff, wishy-washy article that is just being used to go after tail-end keywords.

For example, be confident in your answer citing evidence including what other sites are saying as well to prevent users from wanting to go back to Google to search other sites. Ask users to bookmark the page to check from updates on any new answers that come out on what they are searching for.
